takes just the right spot it seems to do a minute long exposure on a creek flowing like this..and you definitely found it! love the smooth, almost plastic wrapped, water against those crispy details..foreground rock is a very nice touch as well excellent shot bud!
yes i do..sometimes just a polarizer though..for this one i used a nine stop filter(and polarizer)..so, i went from an 1/8 of a second w/just the polarizer on(@f/13, 18mm, iso 100) and add 9 stops to that, and you get a minute long exposure.
and Thanks for the info...yeah I've been wanting to get a polarizer for awhile and that'll be the next tool I buy but I want to get a good one ( B&W ) and they're rather expensive here...100 to 200 dollars so I have to figure out what lens I want to get it for as I can only afford to get one...
i picked up a tiffen polarizer(72mm) for $60, and it works just fine for what ya need it for...i'd say $!100-200 is a little steep for a polarizer(as good as it may be)...even the cheapies would do the trick just fine
