..and it was!!..got ledged at a lil' spot i couldn't resist(this one)..and was a little harder getting up than it was going down..good lesson for the future though ...and also knowing that the roaring sound of sweet creek drowns any efforts to communicate w/someone who was no less than 20 yds upstream....ended up using my walking stick and created a step to get the job done
know the feeling quite well, though it's usually Addam putting himself in a precarious position just out of earshot from me! He did that while we were on the elakala adventure in WV and I was getting pretty nervous that the canyon had swallowed him up! Turns out he was just about 20-30 feet away, behind a huge boulder, but we'd never have been able to hear each other. Glad ya figured your way out of that one!
I must agree. Sweet Creek is a candyland for photographers. I'm getting a toothache just looking at this scrumptious shot, my friend. This is right below Punchbowl in case you had forgotten. That spot you got trapped in for a minute.
At least you would have had something to do & a beauty of a place to do it in until I wandered back down the path wondering where you had gotten to. Kudos on getting out of there on your own without having to cut off an arm. Cutting off an arm would have prolly made it harder though. Anyways, killer weekend of shooting no matter how it went down. Can't wait to do it every weekend.
