simply whisper the words, 'fernoverthereus fossilate pictureus'..and hurry to take the photo before they move again....sometimes a little hairspray works too;)

thanks for the kind, john!:)

 I shall try that for sure, Doug! I sure hope Ollivander has his shop open again in Diagon Alley :D Either that or a flamethrower :iconkillitwithfire:

Well...maybe not a flamethower :paranoid:

You're welcome :)

I like the composition here, it's very well structured and clear. What I really dislike is the photomatix HDR look. It's very dirty and looks unnatural to me.

thank you!

..how would you know what program i used without any exit info:?...and if photmatix is not your preference, what would you suggest for hdr for a more nartural look:?

I just know it from the look :)

This image doesn't have a big dynamic range I think, so a RAW Conversion and some color adjustments should do. If the scenery needs multiple exposures for extended dynamic range, i use photoshop and its masks to combine them. I've recorded some tutorials to show this process: [link]

that's not what i strive for with my processing is to have someone be able to discern the program from a flawed look...i really do try for the most natural i can get out of that program...so, most appreciative for your time and helpfulness...hopefully i can improve upon my hdr with some new methods...thx again:)
