sooo i have a dumb question... how does one capture a picture like this where you blur the watter with a long exposure... but NOT wash the picture out due to light captured in the long exposure.... (does that make sense???)

it is just a matter of metering the brightest spot of the water to get your exposure...if metered correctly(and w/the right filters)you can get nice movement in the water and should come out exposed, without any blown water...hope that wasn't too confusing:?

your camera has a built in meter to gauge your exposure by..and you can spot meter a certain area(for water, the brightest part)

I actually agree with Paula. I think this one is a little lackluster as far as color and highlights. I think it was better before. :)
