thanks alot paul!!...and the basalt wall wrapping around this one had my jaw droppin....even the flow is broken up by the basalt columnar wall...very cool:D

I love the falls, but I think the basalt is the show stealer here. Excellent image, Doug!

thanks muchly, leeanne!!...i agree!..just love the basalt!...the stripes in the cascade are actually caused by the basalt it's flowing over...that basalt wall wrapped all the way around to the other side of the fall...good stuff:D
