white branch falls, located in the three sisters wilderness area, lane county, oregon. this was taken in some bright sunlight, and required alot of minutes to get to a state i felt was worthy of sharing..hope you enjoy, and thanks for viewing
awesome processing bud! i know how difficult waterfalls like this are to capture..with the trees lining the upper portion lighting is always problematic! so yes..nicely exposed, great comp, luscious greens and crispy details..has it all and the perfect amount of each
my pleasure, doug yep, know the situation all too well! is one fall that ive ventured to set up just like this..have been there before sunrise, midday, after sunset trying to get the right lighting from in between those trees, no luck thanks for the inspiration to venture out again and capture it correctly once and for all
I find this to be an interesting shot (from the viewer pov) because all of the shot looks tilted except for the two trees on the right. I know this is caused by the angle you were shooting, but it definitely causes a person to take a second look. I do see some remnants of the bright light you mentioned, but had you not mentioned it, I probably wouldn't have scrutinized to find it. lol! Overall, nice work!
